About Haylee Detroit: Haylee Detroit has proven that she has the ability to make a name for herself as a tattooed model. With her foot in the door, she has recently been a featured extra in the Major Motion Picture "Real Steel" with Hugh Jackman. She has also graced the Cover of the November 2010 issue of International Tattoo Art magazine and has been featured in several others. She is becoming highly respected in her field, having shot with some of the top photographers in the Tattoo industry including Billey Tinney, Bill DeMichele, and Jerry Bennett. Haylee has been modeling for 5 years, singing from kindergarten through her senior year of high school and beyond, and dancing since she was young. Haylee is trained in several styles of song varying from classical to r&b. During high school she, along with her classmates, were invited to several state competitions. She even traveled across the border into Canada for a competition in Toronto. She is experienced in many forms of dance but prefers to mix it up combining hip hop, belly dancing, and salsa to name a few. While modeling with a lot of tattoos goes against the mainstream industry norms, Haylee is proving to be very successful in the tattoo-modeling world. Standing at 5ft 6in, ever changing hair color, gorgeous features, and tattoos, she is gaining the respect of many in the industry. Her success is due in part to her incredible versatility. She specializes in pin up, fashion, glamor, fetish, swimsuit, and lingerie shoots. Haylee Detroit shows the world that you can be heavily tattooed and still be beautiful, classy, and sexy. Haylee is a Cosmetology Apprentice in one of Michigan's largest salons, Pure Salon and Day Spa. Is a bartender Hard Rock Cafe in Detroit. She is a Gypsy Queen and a Crown Ink Diva. Looking for a job when heavily tattooed is a P.I.M.A.!

Are people not aware that it is 2011. Tattoos are more popular than ever, yet when looking for a job it is impossible to get hired when heavily tattooed. When will businesses finally say that they don’t discriminate against race, ethnicity, religion, sex, or body modifications. What can we, as the body modified, do to bring this to the “right” peoples attention to see that this doesn’t continue to happen? Just because I am tattooed doesn’t mean that I cant do the same job that someone with out tattoos can………….
